Dallas
Stars at Tampa Bay Lightning Betting Preview
The Tampa
Bay Lightning defeated the Dallas Stars to win the 2020 Stanley Cup, and these
two teams have now been placed in the same division in 2021. That means that
the Stars and Lightning will square off eight times this season, and one of
those matchups will take place on Saturday night.
Dallas has
had a number of games canceled due to COVID-19 this season, and it has greatly
affected its play on the ice. The Stars have racked up just 14 total points through
13 games, and they need to turn things around in a hurry.
HOW TO
BET ON HOCKEY
Tampa Bay
has 23 points through its first 16 games, and it should be able to take control
of the Central Division by the season’s end. The Lightning have nearly the same
roster from a season ago, and few teams play with as much chemistry as Tampa
Bay.
Dallas
Dominant on Power Play
The Stars
have struggled in many areas to begin the season, but that hasn’t been the case
on the power play. Dallas has converted on over 32 percent of its opportunities
with the man advantage, and that has allowed it to pick up some wins.
Center Joe
Pavelski has been the leader on offense for the Stars this season, racking up
nine goals and 17 assists. Dallas is scoring just 2.93 goals per game, but it
is capable of being a much better offensive team.
Goaltender
Anton Khubodin has been solid in net for the Stars, allowing just 2.66 goals
against per game. The Stars are usually a tough team to score against, but the
defense has struggled to find its footing because of so many postponements.

Grand Salami & Why it is Fun to Bet
Lightning Lighting
the Lamp
The
Lightning are scoring 3.63 goals per game, and few teams have as many weapons
as Tampa Bay. This scoring prowess was the main reason for them winning the
Stanley Cup, and they are up to the same thing this season.
Steven
Stamkos leads the team with nine goals and 17 assists, and defenseman Victor
Hedman paces the Lightning with 13 assists. Tampa Bay wants to play fast and
create scoring opportunities.
Tampa Bay
also does a great job of keeping pucks away from its net, allowing just 2.38
goals per game. The Lightning just don’t have many weaknesses, and they are
starting to hit their stride.

MLB NUMBERS TO WATCH
Tampa Bay
Too Much For Dallas
This should
be a terrific game as both teams are loaded with talent, and there will be
plenty of goals scored. Dallas just has not been able to get things rolling
this season as it has been hit hard by COVID-19. Having this knowledge is
sometimes why we need handicapping
in sports betting.
The
Lightning have wasted little time looking like the defending Stanley Cup
champions, and they will factor into the mix again this season. Playing on
their home ice will be good for the Lightning in this matchup with the Stars as
they will find a way to win the game.
In what
should be a terrific battle, bet on the Tampa Bay Lightning to defeat the
Dallas Stars on Saturday night.
